Modular Military Buildings Vol.1 - Pillbox Bunkers

This will be the first volume of a series of modular military buildings for wargames, RPGs and tabletop games. I wanted the buildings to be modular so that, with just a few parts, players could come up with countless configurations. Because of that, and because it's widely adopted by the tabletop community, I've chosen the OpenLOCK system.

This first volume is focused on pillbox bunkers, a type of small bunkers manned by just a few soldiers. However, since it's a modular system, you'll be able to create large structures and expand them not only in length and width but also in height.

These bunkers will work great with games such as Bolt Action or even Warhammer 40K.

OpenLOCK System

If you've never used OpenLOCK before, it's a modular system designed to build dungeons and other structures with a set of standard pieces based on a one-inch grid, both horizontally and vertically. This system is great to put together different layouts very quickly and you don't have to stick to a single building configuration.

I've kept the wall height at 2 inches (50.8 mm) and the bunkers are based on the 2x2-inch floor tile, which is perfect for 28mm minis on 25mm bases. However, I've also tested the prints at a 50% size and they come out fine, so you could also use them with 15mm minis.

And for those who already know the system, I have removed the inner supports that come with all the OpenLOCK bases. I've made lots of tests and I find they're not needed and they do require a lot of work to get clean apertures to insert the clips.
